An exciting news for those whom had been eyeing the AMD’s CPU which was not available in local, AMD had announced that the Ryzen 3 2300X would be coming into Malaysia next month.
Being the last-generation 12nm Zen+ architecture, this CPU consists of 4 cores and 4 threads. The base clock comes in at 3.5GHz, 100MHz lower than the newer Ryzen 3 3200G, whereas the boost clock matches it at 4GHz. As a quad-core processor, there will be 8MB of L3 cache, 65W of thermal design power, and 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes.
Plus, it also has a dual-channel memory controller and native support for DDR4-2933 modules. The chip comes with an AMD Wraith Stealth CPU cooler.
The only cons of this CPU is the absence of integrated graphics but with the retail price of RM 299, we could just close our eyes blindly for the cons.
This cost effecting CPU would be available in the market starting 3rd March 2020.
